I moved my pictures on photobucket, everything will be found by slowly browsing at http://s511.photobucket.com/albums/s356/ztykk/ now.
Today is LAMB! Its been a long long long time since I last cooked anything, and things have changed. My oven did the best job it could over the time I had it, but with time calls change.
You've done well.
Now got bigger wall oven =D so to celebrate that my parents decided to try roasting a leg of lamb. BEST CHOICE WE'VE EVER MADE! It turned out freaking tender and juicy. I didn't help to prepare it though, was out at Derhui's house with Joyc and Weicong lol.

Whoo.
I expect it would be mandatory for a post at least once a half year to prevent this blog from slipping into the category that is 'buried blogs', so here it is.
Life isn't as bad as everyone says it is; it just needs some getting used to. On a lighter note, I like sailing a lot and we seem to have an addiction to foosball.
Wonder how everyone will react to my contacts?
The Best Day by Taylor Swift is a very very very very meaningful song. Best song in a while.
GP reflection on something I barely deliberately think about. Let's just get this over with.
Life doesn't suck.

Hello ladies!
HAHA here come my second guests to my humble abode for dinner!

I promised them lots of times before that I would cook for them so here was the chance!
But Nicole, Yiying and Jiaqian weren't the only ones to come, that Xizi was actually sleeping at home at 6pm lol but can't blame her she had a chalet the previous day, and Jingqi was still in Cameron Highlands! I think she reached customs at 6?
Anyway, the menu for that day:
Salad with Crispy Bacon!

Garlic Mashed Potato

Baked Salmon

ROAST CHICKEN!

Am I a good host? =D

LOL NO HANDPHONES AT THE TABLE!

Jiaqian complained that this picture made her look fat. =.=

So my mom had to take another one for us. (I think she looks absolutely the same but whatever you strange females =.=)

I left my camera alone to get drinks for them, and look what happens LOL!

Camwhoreeee.......

None of this could be possible without my WONDERFUL MOM! =D THANKS MOM!

Thanks also to ANIMAL FARM for being my second honored guests! Hope you enjoyed the dinner as much as I did as a host =D

DINNER IS SERVED!
WOOT I invited Haoyi Xingqi Zhikai and Terence over to my place for a dinner because they bought me this damn expensive Jamie Oliver cookbook for my birthday. Thanks guys!
My mom and I cooked a salmon steak for each of them (from a whole salmon that we bought at Giant LOL) along with supreme baked potatoes and a salad and a roasted chicken that we all shared.

Terence didn't come =.= until he called just now to say that he just got back from Genting. Apparently there weren't enough return trips so there was a sad seat left empty during the dinner.

We didn't exactly start with the salads cos I didn't have enough plates lol so this was the main course. The salmon steaks tasted extremely good despite being bought almost 4 days ago and frozen. They had just the right amount of fat and the meat was not too flaky nor too hard. WOOT!

And after the salmon we had my oven roasted chicken and vegetables which was almost perfect; sweet, tender and juicy with just the correct crispiness of the skin =D

Zhikai had to finish the half of the chicken that we couldn't eat cos he has a bottomless pit for a stomach lol. And believe it or not, Xingqi said that he was TOO FULL to eat the chicken after he had the salmon.
Yep, Xingqi was full.
He said something about 'I'm a rice person' or something that he could only eat a lot of rice not meat but whatever. I managed to make something that made him DECLINE another dish LOL! This is legendary.
Next up, salad time! It was a simple salad with small lettuce leaves and tomatoes and CROUTONS which my mom made by baking oiled bread, along with a balsamic vinegar salad dressing which I had never used before; consider it a debut. It made the salad pretty cool to eat, surprisingly tangy without an overpowering taste. It was separate cos we kinda thought about vegetables last minute, but it was nice all the same =D

After that, it was time for dessert! Had a tub of FruitnYoghurt at home, strawberry flavoured. This is one of the better ice creams out there without going to the expensive Haagen Dazs kind.

And now, for the GUESTS OF HONOR! Thanks for coming to my first ever dinner for others and hope you guys had a great meal =D I felt a great sense of achievement and satisfaction when they commented and praised my food, it just feels good being able to treat your buddies to something different.

HAOYI ONLY KNOWS ONE POSE LOL!

Dont ask me what Xingqi was doing >.>

ZHIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIKAIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII the bottomless pit who finished up half a chicken body LOL!
Of course, none of this could have been done without my mom; she did most of the work cooking, and then there was the cleaning up to be done because of the griddled salmon splashing oil all over the place. Thanks mom! =D
